I realised that there is a need to select a good fund to generate a stable 8~10% returns in order to achieve the status of Automated Millionaire. Below is the Top 9 Balanced/Managed funds that based on their past performance history that are above 8% returns (compounded) dated 7th Nov 2008.
- AIA Acorns of Asia Balanced Fund (since 2001) - 18.36%p.a.
- AIA Greater China Balanced Fund (since 2003) - 16.76%p.a.
- PRU Asian Balanced Fund (since 2003) - 12.47%p.a.
- Lion Capital Singapore Balanced Fund (since 2001) - 11.26%p.a.
- AIA India Balanced Fund (since 2005) - 10.25%p.a.

I have put my money on AIA Acorns of Asia Balanced Fund since this is the highest growing Balanced Fund I know (Thanks Financial Coach!). But please do your own research before putting your money :)

Hi Fellow Automated Millionaires,
After researching more on Balanced Funds available in Singapore, I realised that there are lots of Balanced/Managed Funds around. Just that the funds are performing below 8%p.a. (compounded). I will update the above list as soon as I find Balanced/Managed Funds that are performing above 8%p.a. (compounded). :)
Hi Fellow Automated Millionaires,
I realised that the Bid prices (price that we sell our funds at) are different from AIA, IPP and Fundsupermart, which ultimately will affect our returns.
Hence, I learnt that if we are investing in Balanced Funds ONLY. The keyword is ONLY. I strongly recommend using DIY way by leveraging Fundsupermart.com. Why? Because the expense paid out Fundsupermart is the lowest of all.
But, of course, I do rely on my Financial Coach on other Funds for more risky investments :) Hence, getting a good Financial Planner is the key to a successful Automated Millionaire Sytem.
